ABOUT VIKTOR

Fractional executive.
Hands-on builder.

I’m Viktor Nordstrom — Founder of SkyLand and Fractional VP of GTM & Revenue.

15 years of experience. I’ve helped generate approximately US$20M in revenue for clients. Data-driven. Execution-focused.

My career started as a caller. I then spent around five years in copywriting before moving into project management, helping a content website attract 700,000 new users through organic search.

From there, I worked at a sales academy, moved into research, joined CIENCE, and went on to build my own business. That journey connects sales, content, SEO, project management and data in the way I approach growth today.

I connect the big picture with the day-to-day work: who to target, what to say, how to reach them, and how to turn those conversations into a pipeline your team can manage.

Recent results: approximately US$150K in monthly revenue and 18–25 demos/month for an AI/SaaS startup selling to equipment rental companies. Cold-call connect rate: 25–30%; record positive-response rate on connected calls: 40%. Investment project: 35.5% connection rate and 25% reply rate.

FIELD NOTES

Better questions.
Stronger systems.

A few practical starting points for your next stage of growth.

01 / STRATEGYIs your ICP specific enough?

A usable ICP gives your team a clear reason to include or exclude an account.

  • Define the business problem you solve and the trigger that makes it urgent.
  • Separate the decision-maker, internal champion and end user.
  • Use your strongest customers to test the profile against real buying behavior.
  • Write down exclusion rules before building your next list.
02 / OUTBOUNDRead the whole funnel.

Connection, reply, positive reply and meeting rates describe different stages. Keep their definitions and denominators visible.

  • Track call connections separately from LinkedIn connections.
  • Separate meetings booked, meetings held and qualified opportunities.
  • Compare like-for-like cohorts and review the conversation quality behind the numbers.
  • Use the weakest stage to choose the next experiment.
03 / AI & OPERATIONSAutomate a process you can trust.

Start with one clear workflow and an owner who can tell when it is working.

  • Validate data and remove duplicates before outreach starts.
  • Build opt-outs and human handoffs into the workflow.
  • Record the actions and decisions that matter.
  • Review real outputs before adding more volume or channels.
